What are Straight Bridges?
Straight Bridges are the Bridging Methods which move the player ultimately forward in the same direction, the
direction can switch over the
course of the Bridge but in the end you will always come out in a
straight direction.
What types of Bridges does Straight Bridging include?
- A lot of hold Mechanics
- Some Double Bridge variants
- Methods with a generally straight direction
Jump Bridge/MJ-Bridge
Jump Bridge:
- The most basic Method to go from one place to another in a straight way
- Based on Hold Mechanic, player is looking down during the Bridge
- Often used by casual players in competitive gamemodes since its safe and consistent
MJ-Bridge
- MJ-Bridge is also one of the most basic ways to move in a straight line across gaps
- Based on Hold Mechanic, player is looking up to 6 blocks ahead of themselves during the Bridge
- MJ-Bridge is like Jump Bridge but with a better view of what happens infront of you, when MJ-Bridging across Islands in a competitive gamemode you will have constant view over possible opponents

Double Bridge
- One of the first Bridges ever invented
- Very basic and kinda CPS-dependant
- Rather beginner friendly
How to do it:
Butterfly click and flick your Mouse from the left to the right while holding W and A or
W and
D.

Triple Bridge
- Very slow
- Very Blockexpensive
- Beginner friendly and sounds cool
- Very Flickheavy
How to do it:
Flick from left to right vey fast while holding W and Butterfly Click.

Double Alt
- A very difficult Method
- Very strafe heavy
- Very flick heavy
- A very old Method
- Can substitute V2s if you are consistent at it
How to do it:
Double Bridge but after every 2 blocks of distance covered you switch sides, you have to alter betweeen W and A and W and D when switching sides, all of that while Butterflying.

Zipper
- Really fun to do
- Really satisfying
- Easy once consistent
- Very versatile
How to do it:
Flick from the left to the right side in a controlled rhythm (which you have to find for yourself) while timing Butterfly Clicks in a controlled, practiced rhythm.

2x Zipper
- Really impressive
- One of the first humanly done TAS-Bridge variants
- Extremely CPS-dependant
- Very few players can do it semi-consistently

Like Zipper but butterflying 2 times at the parts where its stacked, the optimised version is with Counterstraves.

How to do it:
hold W and D or W and A and flick from front to up and repeat, that all while timing clicks (also counts if you untap A and D if you still do it fast enough)
